Changing Perspective by One Percent

Navigation

There are rarely overlaps between quadcopters and real life, but this is quite an interesting one.

One of the challenges for quadcopter navigation is getting an accurate heading. If the sensors aren’t very accurate, and are off by 1 degree, by the time the quadcopter has flown say 100 meters it’s way off target.

This is where the analogy with real life comes in. You can do something in life, maybe reading a book or going travelling, which changes your perspective by 1%. But the effect it can have on your life can be vast. It might only change your heading slightly, but just like the quadcopter it can take you way off course from where you were heading.
