Year In Industry

Intro

When I left school I was lucky enough to get a Year In Industry placement at a manufacturing company in Merseyside.

During my year with them I learnt a huge amount about design and manufacturing.

My project involved designing aluminium extrusions, die castings and thermoplastic extrusions.

I also gained a lot of experience with Solidworks, a popular 3D modelling package.
